WANT TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMYand GET BANKS LENDING

With the Stock Markets in full retreat, with Banks holding on to their newly found stimulus money like grim death....with gasoline prices getting back down to pre 2007 levels, with the big 3 collapse looming, here is a novel idea. How about putting 100, 200, 500k into the hands of every single American who files income taxes each year as a one time economic crisis refund stimulus. This would surely get the financial market and banks moving and lending again, as they would want to soak up every single dollar from us. It could easily be used by taxpayers to lower their credit card, mortgage, auto or other related debt. Some will argue that it will only lead to many Americans entering into further increasing debt....but that isn't true. Banks and other financial institutions are combing over our credit scores with ever increasing scrutiny. Those who do not use this stimulus wisely would have NO ONE to blame but themselves. This is the ONLY way to get this economy rolling again, and would fix the Banking, Auto, and financial markets almost overnight! But don't think for a minute it would ever happen....it makes far too much sense!

WHY I DON'T SUPPORT AUTO INDUSTRY BAILOUT.

There are many uncertainties in the current global economic crisis. The current spotlight is on the Automobile industry in the United States. All of the big 3, GM, Ford and Chrysler are in dire financial straits and looking to get financial help from the U.S. Government just like the banking industry. I was against the original bailout, and I am against the bailout of the U.S. auto industry. I realize many will be adamantly opposed to my position, and I respect their right to that opinion, but I will lay out my opposition nonetheless.

The U.S. auto industry has been riding a fine line between success and failure for decades now since the rise of the Japanese auto industry. The playing field has grown increasingly tilted as Japanese and Korean automakers have expanded their hold on the American consumer, including expanding their manufacturing base to include factory facilities here in the United States WITHOUT having to deal with the UAW, by building in areas of the country where wages are notoriously low and unions are not readily accepted.

The Japanese automobile manufacturers consider unions the plague, And the United Auto Workers (UAW) admit having a tough time recruiting new union members when they visit Japanese manufacturers' plants here in the U.S. Japanese auto makers in the U.S. are winning their battle with the UAW because the people they employ are convinced that benefits are good and the union couldn't do any better. Worse yet for the UAW, conditions are better in these plants in some areas than in UAW plants. An example of a happy non union plant is in the Toyota plant in Georgetown, Kentucky. The workers are now being paid more and getting better bonuses than UAW workers average at domestic plants. Yet the UAW continues to try.  It attempted to organize the workers at Subaru in Indiana at least three times. The result ….nothing for the UAW. The Subaru plant started producing Camrys in a joint venture with Toyota in April.

Why is this possible? The fact of the matter is that Unions have overplayed their hands for years, and added unrealistic amounts of pork to their workers benefits at the expense of the companies they work for, sometimes sidestepping larger issues for those they represent, all the while flaunting the dreaded S word in the process, to get their way. This strategy worked for many years, and did a lot of good for union workers along with the bad. Unfortunately, it is that same strategy, a strategy which reduced the margin between success and failure for these iconic American companies, which is now threatening to destroy these automotive giants; the very benefits which were negotiated over all these years, which leave these companies hemorrhaging financially at an astounding rate when the economic realities of today have reared their ugly heads.

I do not blame the UAW entirely for the impending doom and failure of the big 3, they have done plenty of damage on their own with things like skyrocketing executive compensation, and total disregard of the American consumer’s demand for quality products for years. But the bottom line is someone needs to take the poison in order to save the industry, and it should not be the average American taxpayer with a bailout. The answers to these Auto giants problems must come through the same parties that got them where they are today, the big 3 must find their own way, however painful it may be, realizing that after they reach bottom there is nowhere to go but up.

So let me get this straight.....

The Wrong Reverend Jeremiah Wright now says the Republican party took his preaching and his politics out of context in an effort to destroy Barack Obama's campaign. Folks...I don't know how much more of this I can take. The Liberal left has gotten away with far too much for far too long....so much so that they now pretty much insult our intelligence on a daily basis with their spinning and totally fabricated stories. The blatant attempts to destroy our way of life, our morals and our integrity is in full force now with the results of the election...and it is indeed a historic time for us all.
If there ever was a time for action the time is now. We must gather ourselves, knock the dust off, organize and formulate the correct strategy to win back the wayward souls we have lost with all the fence riding and fear of offending those we are in disagreement with. To listen to all the nonsense coming out of the media here recently, and see the true agenda of those like Chris Matthews laid out in public forums like they can finally raise their noses at us all is nothing short of treason in my opinion..to the people of the United States of America. You can call my position extreme...you can call me whatever you like....but the truth of the matter is that this is becoming an all out Civil War on Democracy and Capitalism! To sit back and accept things as they are, or to bury your head in the sand and hope things get better is to be complicit with the enemy. We are not only at war overseas, we are also at war internally as a country, and before it turns to a violent struggle in the future we need to act...don't kid yourselves, the time is now, before those who would impose their way of life on us have their way we need to return to our core values and beliefs and shout them out at every opportunity. America was, is, and always will be the land of opportunity....imperfect in some ways but still the shiniest beacon of freedom and opportunity, and we cannot let the blood spilled in her defense over generations be nothing more than a history lesson forgotten.

Palin haters within MCCain camp trying to destroy her!

Amazingly....the very group of aides which worked up close with John McCain on his campaign, has stooped to trying to destroy Sarah Palin! It appears even within the upper eschelon of the Republican party...there are liberal leaning RINO's who see the Conservative Republican as a threat. The lies and stories are flowing directly into Fox news.If only they had put this much effort at any one time into Jeremiah Wright.....Rezko...or the slew of other "questionable relationships" Obama had... we would not be seeing a changing of the guard!
To add insult to injury, it appears to me that whoever is slinging this mud is probably a senior female staffer and regardless who it is...I want them exposed for the fraud they are! Hopefully the rest of the McCain staff will come forward and reveal who it is. I would prefer that McCain himself come out and tell whoever it is to stop and name names...but that isn't likely. Governor Palin, we conservatives have your back on this...we don't believe the lies coming out at all.....you were the lone conservative light in that Presidential campaign!

The downfall of the annointed one begins.

Two ..that's right, just 2 days after the "historic " election of 2008 and the downfall has started before the rise even began! Russia sends a big hello with missiles on the border of Poland . Oh how I would love to be a fly on the wall at that first security brief....a brief by the way, that the man is not qualified to be given! The market reaction to the election says volumes about the winning party and President elect. The bulk of America that voted for Obama has already gotten their "First" surprise during his acceptance speech and the look on their confused and gullible faces was......." P R I C E L E S S" if nothing else. I can't wait for the swearing in ceremony, and the first 90 days should be as good as " Forrest Gump" in the spin department. I fully expect every single mistake, every single backpedal from his promises.... to be preceeded by" Because of the mistakes of the Bush Administration......." So get ready all you "Real World" watching, MTV generation, can't get your heads out of fantasyland, hollywood worshipping zombies...it's going to be a long eye opening journey for you, yet a short lived one in many respects with God's mercy!

Where would you ........

Stand with this:
1) There is no choice.....life is sacred and abortion is wrong
2) I am not my brothers keeper.....I will always help the helpless.....but it is not my job to give you support for life.
3) The United States needs to take advantage of it's Natural resources and stop sending Billions of dollars to countries that do not like us and in most cases would LOVE to destroy us
4) We do not compromise with Terrorists or criminals....there are swift and severe consequences for your actions
5) We support the spread of Democracy....but we will not try to shove it down any nations throat
6) We value human life..we will do everything possible to improve it world wide
7) We value hard work...and will do everything possible to ensure that you keep as much of your hard earned income as possible
8) We realize that healthcare is an issue...children up to the age of 18 whose families income falls below an acceptable threshold will be taken care of with a healthplan
9) Seniors need not choose between a meal, a roof over their heads, or their medications, those who cannot afford to pay for their medications will be helped
10) Taxes are unfortunately necessary but we will look at instituting a flat tax based on a percentage of personal income
11) We will do everything in our power to reduce business taxes to be among the lowest rather than the highest in the world....but we will penalize those who ship the jobs of American workers out of the country.
12) No more congressional pork!
13) Education needs to be more affordable to the average American family and real educational reform needs to take place across America. All children should be able to go to a school they feel safe and nurtured in.
14) Freedom of religion is just that....you are free to worship or not worship as you wish but NO ONE has the right to dictate religious practice or policy.
15) We must take care of our military and their families...who sacrifice so much and receive relatively little in return
16) Big Government is B A D...we pledge to reduce it and streamline it as much as possible
17) National Security is vital, and it has to be looked at as an extremely serious issue

The America we knew is gone........

It's the day after ......the day I was dreading in the back of my mind......and the truth was actually exposed, but I feel no better. I will ask it again for those who missed it; Is it any better to have elected someone based on the color of their skin? The polls and all the drama last night focused on one very simple fact ...this election was won on a racist basis. So many of the "new" voters chose Obama simply because he was black.....that's not a stretch, take a look at the data. As much as we want to pretend it didn't happen it did! This election was won on the basis of a mans skin color.....and it's sad. I have nothing against Barack Obama the person, other than a different view of the nation and the economy...but I have a real issue with all those young and first time voters who openly admitted they voted for Obama because he was Black.....yes even the heartwarming stories of the centenarians and octogenarions were racist at their core, why else would someone who has never ever felt they needed to vote suddenly endeavor to ensure they cast their vote this particular election. Ladies and gentlemen....it was an historic event and evening, for the first time a black man ran for and was elected President of the United States....Ladies and gentlemen it was an historic event and evening, for the first time a black man was elected President of the United States.....too bad it was because of the color of his skin and not in spite of it!

Kay Hagan tries to spin it....

Kay Hagan is now on television denying she took a big contribution from the Godless Americans.Meanwhile, her campaign records show she took over $2000 dollars from the leader of that group in contributions. I'm confused.....isn't that the same thing as taking it from the group. So why is she trying to spin it? The best thing she could have done was give the money back and keep quiet, but instead she is arrogantly denying something she clearly has done. I for one am glad Libby Dole exposed her, and I hope the lawsuit filed against Dole is thrown out!

Polls...Polls....Polls.... and the biased mass media...

Less than a week to go, and it appears that the polling is tightening up, even with the media genuinely giving McCain no chance for the last month. Maybe people aren't so easily fooled after all, or maybe the backers of the Obama campaign were not able to suppress the truth effectively enough to maintain his supposed" commanding lead" in early polling and voting. Is it possible that the Democratic Party, the party of "the people" with the Deepest Pockets Ever, is taking the last page out of the 2007 New England Patriots playbook, and finishing as soft as a roll of Charmin? One can only hope....and get out to vote for McCain/Palin!

Shocking turn of events...........

I have not been able to write a good post for several days. I've been preoccupied with trying to open my brothers eyes about this election. He sent me an email last week which made me feel physically ill. I won't go into detail, but I will say that he has swallowed the Obama Kool-aid. I was amazed at my brothers take on things to say the least, and can only hope that he was awakened by my emails and phone calls over the past few days. I simply refuse to believe that the majority of the American people are so foolish as to believe all the spin being thrown out there by the Democrats and their nominee, that said, the opinions of my brother, as well as the attitude of defeat I have seen among some of my Republican friends and family, give great cause for concern. There is a week left to ensure victory for America. One week left to sway the fence riders to our side, and help this country get back on its feet, sending a message to the Pelosi and Frank types that they can pretend Republicans caused this mess, spin away the Republican parties good deeds with their lies....but they will never take away our freedom of thought, speech and expression and our way of life!

Does it bother you...?

Does it bother you that there is no respect for the creation of Human Life?
Does it bother you that the idea of taxing those who already pay a majority of the taxes in the US  even more is being looked at with open arms and even more open hands?
Does it bother you that the Democratic campaign has somehow managed to break records with "small" donations at a time when people are cutting back? (Literally thousands of so called small donations of $200 or less)
Does it bother you that the very party that is responsible for the collapse of Freddie and Fannie now lays the blame at the feet of the Republican Party?
Does it bother you that the mass Media has an agenda, and continues to perpetrate fraud against the American Public?
Does it bother you that ACORN has been allowed to muddy the voter registration rolls?
Does it bother you that Barack Obama has received the largest amount of money from Fannie and Freddie in at least the last 10 years?
Does it bother you that Barack Obama is willing to entertain talks with countries that want Israel wiped off the face of the earth?
Does it bother you that Barack Obama is loved by Chavez, and many other Anti- American Leaders?

It certainly bothers me....I am doing all I can to get those who are against John McCain to really take a look at what is going on. Do some research on their own, and stop following the masses and acting like a bunch of sheep being led to slaughter. I pray to God for all of us...that the tides are turned in this election!

The "R" word

The Democrat's and alot of the media outlets are really running rampant with derogatory rhetoric about the "Racist" Republican party....and it is very disturbing to me. For one, as a Hispanic American, I have been subjected to racism from people of my own ethnic heritage, who don't realize I am hispanic and say things they shouldn't, not realizing I understand what they are saying, as well as from folks of other races, who thought I was "white" like them and made negative comments or statements about Hispanics, Blacks, Asians....whoever the flavor of the day was. But it is not a common thing like some want to suggest, and it is usually kept within their own network of friends, not openly discussed. I chalk it off to ignorance, lack of education, or downright evil!

The point here is that yes...there have been some awful comments made and posted by some imbecils who call themselves Republicans, but they represent a very small sample of Republicans, and America in general. Furthermore, I see this election exposing Racism somewhat on both ends of the spectrum. Is it any less racist to cast a vote for someone, simply because they are Black? I don't think it is, and it should concern people of all races that this type of behavior both exists.....and is not being commented on in the media like the other forms of racism are. This election should be fought for and won on issues, not on the color of your skin or your party affiliation. My wife told me that yesterday on television, comedian Richard Lewis stated that he would give up alot of his experiences just to see a Black man elected President. I find that to be a STUPID, CONDESCENDING, and IGNORANT comment to make. I would also like to say that it makes Richard Lewis seem like a closet bigot to me. I think Barrack Obama is a wonderfully eloquent public speaker with great presence, but I disagree with his ideas for this country......does that make me a bad person? Hopefully if any of you read this you will understand my point, it's not a popularity contest we are talking about here, it's the most important elected position in the world, and it requires much more serious thought to make your choice than what color the candidates skin is.

Phantom Tax Cuts

Just another observation here that we should all be concerned about. Obama says he is going to give folks making less than 250k a year a tax cut.....how admirable.........however, many folks in the so called" middle class" pay no taxes at all every year after their deductions are taken into account which is fine by me, but did you know that under the Obama plan they would receive money each year over and above any reimbursements while paying nothing in taxes ! It truly would be a redistribution of wealth if that were to occur....there is a word for that......it's called MARXISM !

The last 08 Debate

After watching the debate last night, I decided to sleep on what I saw before commenting. Now that I have had that opportunity, here are my observations. First and foremost, this was John McCain's best effort to date. He genuinely looked passionate and angry during this debate. He also made several solid points, but lacked the killer instinct to drive them home and hit hard. There is no denying that Barrack Obama is a talented and charismatic speaker, and it's for this reason, that John McCain needed to continue to challenge him on every point, not just a couple here and there like he did. In short, McCain did well, but it may have been a case of too little too late here. I don't see where he did anything to change enough minds, or leave significant doubt in the minds of enough folks to help his bid for the White House.
